Palestinians congratulate EU on Nobel Peace Prize

Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malki congratulated the European Union on winning the Nobel Peace Prize and asked the EU to "remember the Palestinian issue, which is still relevant."
He expressed his regret over the fact that the Quartet on the Middle East "failed to do its job", and said that the Palestinians "expect the EU to use the prize in order to solve our problem and that the Palestinian people will finally have the right to their own state." (AFP)
