Activists: Multiple airstrikes in north of Syria

Syrian government warplanes unleashed a barrage of airstrikes on rebel strongholds in the country's north Tuesday, causing a number of casualties, activists said.
The strikes were concentrated in Idlib and Aleppo provinces, and activists described them as some of the worst since rebels fighting to topple President Bashar Assad made advances in the region in the past week. (AP)
