In missive to UN, Prosor blasts Gaza-bound flotilla

Israel's Ambassador to the UN Ron Prosor has fired a missive to the Security Council and United Nations Chief Ban Ki-Moon, blasting the flotilla heading towards Gaza.

Prosor called on the global body to put an end to the "unnecessary provocation," noting that while Israel isn't seeking a confrontation, it will enforce the maritime blockade on the Gaza Strip. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
