Social protest leader Itzik Shmuli joins Yachimovich's Labor

Social protest leader and National Student Union chairman Itzik Shmuli, announced that he would run for a Knesset seat on behalf of the Labor party in the upcoming elections.
Shmuli, who recently resigned from the Student Union, is expected to hold a press conference on Wednesday afternoon along with Labor Chairwoman Shelley Yachimovich. (Moran Azulay, Ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth correspondent)
