College students protest over budget cuts

Hundred of students, lecturers and administrators from technology colleges across Israel protested over budget cuts of millions of shekels in the education budget.

They called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to grant colleges emergency financial aid of NIS 40 million (roughly $10 million). The students said the strike will continue until the funds are transferred. (Shahar Chai)
