Haniyeh: visit of Qatar emir breaks blockade

Hamas prime minister in Gaza Ismail Haniyeh said that the visit of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who arrived to the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, signifies the "breaking of the political and economic blockade on the strip." Haniyeh added that "the visit proves that Gaza is not alone."
During his visit, the emir announced that he was increasing the aid to Gaza from $250 million to $400 million. (Elior Levy)
