IDF officer hurt in Gaza in stable condition

Captain Ziv Shilon, who sustained moderate to serious injuries when a bomb went off on the Gaza border fence, near Kissufim, came out of surgery and is in stable condition.
Doctors said Shilon is "not out of the woods yet," as he lost the palm of his hand in the attack and doctors are not sure they will be able to restore it. (Atila Somfalvi)
