Germans charge Turkish man with PKK membership
German prosecutors say they have charged a 42-year-old Turkish man with membership in the banned Kurdish separatist group PKK on allegations he was the group's regional leader in Germany.
Prosecutors said Thursday the man, identified only as Vezir T. in accordance with German privacy laws, was charged in Berlin court on Oct. 8 with membership in a foreign terrorist organization. (AP)
