Khamenei: Unrest in Syria stirred by enemies

Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said that Tehran opposes "foreign intervention" in Syria. In a message to Hajj pilgrims, Khamenei said that the unrest in Syria was meant as "revenge on a government that stood alone against the Zionist regime for three decades and protected Palestinian and Lebanese resistance groups."
"The enemies are generating a crisis in Syria in order to draw attention away from serious issues in their countries," he said. (Dudi Cohen)
