Likud ministers comment on union with Yisrael Beiteinu
Minister Michael Eitan (Likud) urged the Likud committee to convene immediately, demanding that the Likud-Yisrael Beiteinu union be rejected. "If it happens, this agreement will eliminate the Likud and be a threat to Israeli democracy."
Minister Gideon Sa'ar (Likud), however, supported the union, saying "This move will make the difference between right and left clearer and may enable a better handling of the great challenge that Israel is facing." (Yuval Karni)
