Rocket lands near southern community

A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip exploded near a community in the Shaar Hanegev Regional Council. There have been no reports of injuries or damage so far.
Some 16 rockets have been fired toward southern communities since Sunday night. Hamas' military wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, claimed responsibility for the rocket fire. (Neri Brenner)
