Sandy's death toll up to 17
CNN reported Tuesday that superstorm Sandy, which has been pounding the East Coast since Monday night, has so far claimed 17 lives.
Over 7 million people have been cut off power and utility services. US President Barack Obama declared New York a "major disaster" area. (Ynet)
