A state witness in the Holyland corruption case said Tuesday that the bribery transaction system he detailed in his testimony was not as consistent as he had originally claimed. He further stated he does not have documentation for many of the payments he made and received during his relationship with businessman Hillel Cherny.
His new statements could negate the basis for the charges in the case, in which former PM Ehud Olmert is implicated. (Naama Cohen Friedman)
