Gaza resident arrested for selling iron to Hamas
A 41-year-old Gaza man, Maher Atia Abed Abu Ghaba, was arrested on suspicion of selling iron to Hamas' military wing. According to the Shin Bet, Hamas used the metal to build tunnels, posts and bunkers.
The arrest was made last month. Around the same time the authorities at the Ashdod Port intercepted some 3,000 tons of iron, which Abu Ghaba meant to transfer to the Gaza Strip. (Yoav Zitun)
