Daylight Savings Times to be extended by 10 days

The Knesset plenum approved in second and third readings a bill to extend the daylight savings time until the first week of October. According to the bill, the clock will change on a date according to the Gregorian calendar and not the Jewish calendar.

The law now stipulates that daylight savings time will start on the Friday before the last Sunday in March and end on the first Sunday after October 1. (Moran Azulay)
