Israel complains to UN over Syrian tanks, gunfire

Israeli Ambassador to the UN Ron Prosor has fired a missive to UN Chief Ban Ki-Moon and the Security Council,  reviling the Syrian tanks that entered the demilitarized zone in the Golan Heights and the gunfire that hit IDF forces.

Prosor said that while Israel continues to act with restraint, these developments could cause instability in the region. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
