British Prime Minister David Cameron met King Abdullah and top Saudi officials in Jeddah Tuesday after a two-day visit to the UAE, where he secured a defense partnership with the Gulf state.
The two leaders "discussed regional and international developments, mainly the Palestinian issue and the situation in Syria," where a 20-month conflict has left more than 36,000 people dead, state news agency SPA reported. (AFP)
