Former MI chief Uri Sagi quits Labor Party primaries

Former Military Intelligence chief Uri Sagi has informed Labor Chairwoman Shelly Yachimovich that he would not be competing for a seat on her party's Knesset list.

 

Sagi, 69, retired from the Israel Defense Forces in the mid 1990s and was later put in charge of the peace talks with Syria by the Ehud Barak government. (Moran Azulay)
