Sha'ar Hanegev official: Elections mustn't prevent retaliation

Head of the Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council Alon Shuster visited the site of Sunday morning's direct rocket hit on a vehicle in one of the council's communities. "This is a war of attrition and terror aimed at inciting fear," he said. "The government cannot rely on the elections in the background to avoid action."

According to him, "One hand should strike those planning to hurt us and the other should calm the situation. Those who know how to roust the world against the Iranian nuclear program are morally bound to do the same to halt rocket fire against civilians." (Yoav Zitun)
