IDF: Warning message relayed to Syrian forces via UN
The IDF Spokesperson's Unit announced that artillery fired at Syrian territory was a warning in response to a mortar fired at Israel Sunday as part of the infighting between rebel forces and the Syrian Army
According to the announcement, Israel relayed a message to the UN essentially warning the Syrian forces not to fire into Israeli territory again, and threatening harsher response in the future. (Ynet)
