Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Mashal addressed the assassination of Ahmed Jabari and Operation Pillar of Defense in a speech in Khartoum, capital of Sudan, saying "You killed Jabari and after that you can kill Mashal and others, but we will eventually get to Jerusalem."
Mashal added that "Israel and all the dark forces in the world will not eliminate the Palestinian people." (Elior Levy)
