Ex-NY Consol to Ynet: Ground op will change public opinion

Israel's former New York Consol, Asaf Shariv said in a special Ynet broadcast that Israel has succeeded in creating deterrence, but warned international public opinion would turn against Israel in the case of a ground operation.
Shariv added that he does not believe that the current Israeli government has any desire to continue with political negotiations with the Palestinians. (Ynet)
