The Ministerial Committee for Supplies has authorized Defense Minster Ehud Barak's request to purchase an additional Iron Dome missile defense system priced at some NIS 750 million (roughly $190 million). So reported sources within the Defense Ministry, adding the purchase was scheduled prior to the beginning of Operation Pillar of Defense. (Yoav Zitun)
