Lieberman to Ynet: We must ensure Israel's security

In a live Ynet broadcast, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said, "It is important to remember the objectives of this operation: A lull for Israeli residents, the destruction of the Fajr-5 missiles and the restoratin of our deterrence. We have advanced greatly in two out of the three."
Regarding a ceasefire, Lieberman said that he believes that "we will attain a lenthy lull. We want a lengthy lull, not for a week and not for two." Although he said Israel isn't interested in an escalation in the Gaza Strip, "if we reach various agreements, we must ensure Israel's security interests." (Ynet)
