J'lem officials: Israel hasn't agreed to any ceasefire deal

Sources in Jerusalem say that Israel "hasn't agreed to any version of a ceasefire deal" with Gaza factions.

An Egyptian official, meanwhile, said Cairo was "hopeful" of an agreement later on Tuesday. "We are more hopeful today than yesterday," he said, adding: "We are waiting for the Israeli response." (Itamar Eichner and Reuters)
