Demonstrations of this kind were held all around the world. In New York, dozens of members of the anti-Zionist ultra-Orthodox Jewish sect Neturei Karta rabbis stood on the Palestinian side.

"We are humiliated by the things being done in our name," said Rabbi Israel David Weiss, a member of Brooklyn's Neturei Karta community, in an interview for the am-pm paper. "We are crying for them", he added, referring to the Palestinians.

Neturei Karta members believe that the existence of a Jewish State prior to the coming of the Messiah is illegitimate.
The demonstrators held signs reading, "Israel must go", "Bibi Netanyahu and the State of Israel are not representative of world Jewry" and "Judaism rejects Zionism."
Hundreds of rockets have been fired at Israel since Operation Pillar of Defense was launched last week.
Three Israeli civilians and a soldier have been kiled in the rocket attacks. Some 130 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes in Gaza.
