After West Bank, Clinton back in Jerusalem

An official says the US secretary of state has returned to Jerusalem for another round of meetings with Israeli leaders as she tries to wring an elusive truce deal over the Israel-Hamas fighting. He says Clinton went back to Jerusalem after holding talks in the West Bank with Palestinian President Abbas on Wednesday.
She'll be meeting with Israeli PM Netanyahu, Defense Minister Barak and Foreign Minister Lieberman in her attempts to help piece together a deal that would satisfy the two foes after eight days of fighting. (AP)
