Officials: Israel will continue to negotiate ceasefire

A security cabinet meeting on the attempts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza has concluded. State sources say Israel intends to continue the negotiations in an effort to garner international support for a future Israeli operation that is to be launched if Hamas violates the terms of the truce.
