The Hamas government has announced that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has congratulated Hamas Prime Minister Ismayil Haniyeh for the "victory" over Israel's Operation Pillar of Defense.
In a phone conversation with Haniyeh Abbas also offered his condolences for the deaths of "martyrs" in Gaza. (Yonatan Gonen)
