Schools in Ashkelon, Ashdod reopen
The mayors of Ashdod, Ashkelon and Beersheba have announced that schools in the cities will be reopened on Friday, following consultations with the Home Front command.
In an announcement published on Thursday the mayors said that the absence of students and teachers will be accepted with understanding and urged schools to dedicate the first school day to discuss the recent escalation in the south with the students. (Ilana Curiel)
