Lebanon: Palestinians might be behind rocket fire into Israel

None

The Lebanese army has discovered three rocket launchers, from two of which were used to fire rockets towards Israel Wednesday. They were found in the Nabatieh Governorate, in south Lebanon, according to an Al-Hayat report citing Lebanese military sources. An additional source raised the possibility that radical Palestinian forces are responsible for the rocket fire.

A UNIFIL source said that it is possible that the rocket fire was meant to protest the ceasefire between Israel and Gaza groups. A joint UNIFIL-Lebanese army task force has begun investigating the incidents. (Roi Kais)
