Syria: Rebels take control of military airport
Heavy fighting raged Saturday in the Damascus region, where rebels have made progress in the battle for a military airport.
The rebels took control of a "large part" of the military airport of Marj al-Sultan, about fifteen miles east of Damascus, killing 12 soldiers. (AFP)
