Likud: We did not ask Barak to resign

Published: 11.26.12, 10:47 / Israel News

The Likud party has said that it did not request Defense Minister Ehud Barak to resign from his government position. Earlier, Ynet reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu demanded that Barak resign from his position if he joins another political party.

Barak is expected to hold a press conference at 11:00 at the Kirya military compound in which he is expected to announce his alliance with Tzipi Livni.  (Yuval Karni, a Ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth correspondent )
