Hamas supports Abbas' appeal to UN

Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal said Hamas supported the Palestinian Authority's bid to upgrade its status at the UN.
A press release issued by Hamas said Mashaal met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and wished him luck. The Palestinians are expected to submit the appeal to the UN on Thursday. (AFP)
