Switzerland, Norway to support Palestinian UN bid
The Swiss government announced it will support the Palestinian UN bid on Thursday. According to the Swiss Federal Council, supporting the Palestinian bid is based on the wish to "Revive the two-state solution and renew the peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians."
In addition, Norway's foreign minister said: "Norway will vote in favor of Palestine's status upgrade at the UN General Assembly." (AFP)
