Ashton: EU to recognize Palestinian state when time is right

European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton expressed hope that the PA will become a member of the UN as part of a solution to the Mideast conflict. She added that the EU will recognize a Palestinian state when the time is right and only though peace talks between the Palestinians and Israel. (AFP)
