Abbas: Israel involved in modern ethnic cleansing

Palestinian President Abbas said at the UN General Assembly that there is no need for thousands of dead and wounded for the world to understand that the occupation must come to an end, and for the world to understand that we need peace.

He added that hundred of thousands Palestinians where thrown out of their vibrant country into refugee camps, calling it a modern ethnic cleansing. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
