Palestinians fire in the air after UN vote

Palestinians in Ramallah welcomed the news of the passing of the General Assembly resolution recognizing Palestine as an observer state with cries of joy. Some Palestinians fired in the air and waved Palestinian and Fatah flags.
The organizers of the event however asked the crowds to stop firing for fear of hurting peole. (Elior Levy)
