Government rejects UN resolution upgrading Palestinian status

The government unanimously rejected the UN General Assembly resolution to upgrade the Palestinians status to an observer non-member state.
The government said in a statement that "the Jewish people has a natural, historic and legal right to its home land and Jerusalem its capital. The resolution will not serve as a base for future negotiations nor does it provide a way to a peaceful solution." (Attila Somfalvi)
