EU to Israel: Cancel decision to build in J'lem, W. Bank

European Union Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton called on the Israeli government to forego its decision to authorize 3,000 housing units in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
"The European Union has repeatedly stated that all settlement construction is illegal under international law and constitutes and obstacle to peace," Ashton said. (AFP)
