Report: Egypt foils attempt to smuggle fuel into Gaza
The Palestinian Maan News Agency reported that the authorities in Egypt have thwarted an attempted to smuggle 8,000 liters of diesel fuel into Gaza through a network of tunnels.
According to the report, the Egyptian police have arrested a truck driver who was transporting four gas containers to the Sinai city of El Arish. He admitted during questioning that the gas was meant to reach Rafah. (Roi Kais)
