Report: Syrian regime prepared to use chemical weapons
The London-based Arabic-language al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper reported that a senior Syrian official claimed the Syrian regime cut off internet access last week, as a preventive measure in case rebels retaliate over the use of chemical weapons. The regime has yet to use chemical weapons against the rebels. (Roi Kais)
