Report: Egypt amends constitutional decree
The Egyptian Presidential Office announced at a press conference that it was decided to amend the constitutional decree granting President Mohammed Morsi more powers, the al-Youm al-Sabaa newspaper reported.
It was further reported that a referendum on the constitution will be held as planned on December 15. Mohammed Salim al-Awa who attended a meeting with Morsi, said that the factions have drawn up a new decree consisting of five clauses. (Roi Kais)
