Treasury: Outgoing gov't can't make major budget decisions
The Finance Ministry said late on Tuesday that "the outgoing government is precluded from making significant budgetary decisions ahead of the elections." The statement was made after the Regional Labor Court rejected the state's petition to bar nurses from continuing their strike.
Representatives of the Treasury and the nurses were to resume talks over the medical professionals' employment terms on Wednesday. (Boaz Fyler)
