Abbas appreciative of Portugal's support at UN

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas began a two-day visit to Portugal, following a three-day visit to Turkey.

He met with Prime Minister Pedro Coelho and thanked him for the support during the United Nations vote which granted the Palestinians observer state status. (AFP)
