Groups call for haredi parties' disqualification

Several social organizations urged the Central Election Committee to disqualify both Shas and the United Torah Judaism parties over their exclusion of women.
"Some parties broke the Knesset Basic Law by preventing women from joining their lists," the request said. The bid is expected to be discussed next week. (Telem Yahav)
