Published: 12.14.12, 16:48 / Israel News

Senior political sources told Ynet that following Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman's resignation, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is likely to keep the foreign relations portfolio until after January's elections.

Should Netanyahu decide to name a replacement for Lieberman, his shortlist will include Vice Premier Silvan Shalom and Education Minister Gideon Saar. (Attila Somfalvi)
