EU expressed horror, condolences over Connecticut shooting

The European Union sent a message of condolences to US President Barack Obama over the Connecticut shooting that left 26 people, including 20 children, dead.


"It is with deep shock and horror that I learned of the tragic shooting in Connecticut. On behalf of the European Commission, I express my sincere condolences to the families of the victims of this terrible tragedy," European Commission Chief José Manuel Barroso said. (AFP)
