The chief medical examiner of Connecticut, Dr. Wayne Carver, confirmed during a press conference that the shooter did in fact kill his mother at another location before proceeding to Sandy Hook Elementary School. Carver added that most of the children who were killed were first graders aged 5 and 6. (Yitzhak Benhorin)
