An unknown man arrived early Monday morning to an office building in Bnei Brak
and shot at a female security guard, who sustained light to moderate wounds and was taken to the Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv.
The guard fired back and apparently injured the shooter who escaped the scene. He was found several hours later at Ramat Gan's Ayalon Mall.
The circumstances behind the incident remain unclear as police
look into two possible scenarios: criminal shooting or nationalistically-motivated shooting.

The suspect is apparently an Arabic-speaker. One weapon was found on the scene.
Magen David Adom spokesman Zachi Heller said that the security guard was not hit by the firing but rather from a blow to the body.
